He is unable to believe that Tenshi is evil as per Yuri’s claim so he attempts to speak with her, but the encounter doesn’t go as he intended.
Otonashi finds himself oddly drawn to Tenshi after his joining the SSS & battling with her. He gradually unravels the mysteries of the afterlife while trying to regain his memories & understand Tenshi.
